Exercise - Focal length and angle of view.

The student is asked to take two photographs of the same subject at opposing ends of the focal lengths of the lens ensuring that the subject fills the frame by moving forward as the focal length decreases.

Reflections on Exercise - Focal length and angle of view.

Following on from the previous exercise I assumed that this would repeat the first introductory one which did touch on the subject. However it was very interesting to see how different the results were. Another important thing to remember when composing a photograph.

Although I am aware that the angle of view has an effect, relating it specifically to focal length enables different perspectives of the subject and its relationship with its surroundings.Again this ties in with Exercise 2 'Object in different positions in the frame'.  I'm enjoying discovering how things are all related in some way and how things are starting to slot together.
